
Back pain sufferer and world No.3 tennis champion Roger Federer is back on form in the first round of the Australian Open!
Withdrawing with back pain from the Qatar Open after beating Andreas Seppi earlier this January, Roger Federer was back in action yesterday with a win in the initial staghes of the Australian Open.
Federer, whose serve was affected in Qatar by his back problems, was always optimistic about making a recovery in time fo a return in Melbourne. After suffering similar back pain issues in the past, he knew that the key to being fit again was rest and the correct treatment.
The 30 year old Swiss superstar seemed to have no problems with a 7-5 6-2 6-2 victory over Alexander Kudryav at the Rod Laver arena.
